Jordan Smith, RDN, LDN, IBCLC

Jordan is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

After completing her undergraduate degree at NC State, she attended Meredith College where she completed the requirements to become a Registered Dietitian (RD). Soon after, she discovered she had a passion for infant nutrition, the complexities that surround it and the joy she found interacting with new mothers and families.

Jordan attended and obtained the training for her accreditation at the Mary Rose Tully Training Initiative at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. There she learned a solid foundation in breastfeeding and lactation, as well as exposure to a broad spectrum of practice experiences.

Jordan now has over 10 years of experience and has provided lactation care to new families in various settings, including the UNC Women’s Hospital, pediatric office settings and in-home / virtual consultations.

Jordan believes in a non-judgmental approach to lactation and breastfeeding. She has a family-centered approach and strives to find feeding methods that work for individual situations.

Jordan also loves to spend time with her husband and their two daughters.
